Total numbers of vacant seats are 16 as Junior Engineers (Civil/Horticulture/Electrical) on temporary basis in the office of The Superintending Engineer, Chandigarh.
Eligibility Criteria
Age of candidates will be 18 to 25 years as on 1st Jan, 2012. Relaxation of 5 and 3 years in upper age limit will be applicable to reserved category.
Candidates should have engineering diploma in the relevant discipline like as Civil/Electrical “or” direct degree approved by UGC/DEC/AICTE.
For the post Junior Engineer (Horticulture)
Candidates should have B.Sc degree with horticulture as a special subject in the area of agriculture and 3 years course after pre-university will also be required. Candidates who have master degree in respective disciplines are also eligible.
Mode of Selection
Candidates will be shortlisted for written/computer test on the basis of performance in the qualification career with the ratio of 1:10 because it will not be convenient to organized written test of all candidates for the department. After it qualified candidates will appear for interview.

Important instructions
- Application format is given in advertisement. Application without prescribed format will be non-considerable.
- One passport size photograph/signature of candidate should be attached on application form.
- Always fill the application form in own handwriting.
- Incomplete application after last date will be non considerable.
- Candidates who are already in government service will be liable to produce NOC from their department.
